Week 7 NFL Picks

Sunday has arrived once again and there are some good games on the slate. Plenty of storylines this week. Tony Romo going down. Tony Gonzalez not being traded but Roy Williams is. The Rams and Texans getting their first wins in dramatic fashion but can they keep it up. But what I am most interested in seeing is how Buffalo and Tennessee play after the bye week. They started the season so well but was it a product of their easy schedule or a true representation of how good these teams are? We shall see...

As far as the picks, it was yet another week of mediocre picking from Jake and I. I went 9-5 and he went 7-7. So my lead has grown to a 4 game lead now (Matt 51-37, Jake 47-41) but again, plenty of season left. Jake's picks aren't on his blog so I won't link it but he's an honest guy. He'll let me know how he did.

WEEK 7 PICKS

Tennessee @ Kansas City - TENNESSEE
---KC is a trainwreck, and Larry Johnson has been deactivated
San Diego @ Buffalo - SAN DIEGO
---San Diego is clicking on all cylinders now. Plus, not sold that Trent Edwards is 100%
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - PITTSBURGH
---As long as Ryan Fitzpatrick is starting, Cincinnati will keep losing. But this one may be close
Baltimore @ Miami - MIAMI
---Ravens D has their work cut out for them to stop Ronnie Brown. He's been really good
Dallas @ St. Louis - ST. LOUIS
---Call me crazy but Jim Haslett will inspire this team to beat the Romo-less Cowboys
Minnesota @ Chicago - MINNESOTA
---Injuries in Bears secondary means Vikings will be able to pass all over them
New Orleans @ Carolina - NEW ORLEANS
---Saints just seem to be on a different level than the Panthers right now
San Francisco @ New York Giants - NY GIANTS
---This one could be ugly. G-Men are out to prove the Monday Night loss was a fluke
Detroit @ Houston - HOUSTON
---Best chance for a Lions win. But the Texans are definitely the better team
New York Jets @ Oakland - OAKLAND
---The kind of game Oakland wins. A mediocre and turnover-prone opponent at home
Cleveland @ Washington - WASHINGTON
---The Redskins are the better team. But if the Browns play like they did Monday, they have a shot
Indianapolis @ Green Bay - INDIANAPOLIS
---Green Bay better put up some points because Peyton and the Colts are gonna score a lot
Seattle @ Tampa Bay - TAMPA BAY
---Two teams going in opposite directions. Bucs defense is gonna have fun today
Denver @ New England - DENVER
---Tough to pick against Pats at home but Broncos offense is too good for the aging Pats D

Enjoy the games everyone. Power Rankings come afetr Monday Night
