Hard to believe but only 6 weeks left in the NFL season. But before I even think about those 6 weeks, how about the week that was? Matt Stover sets the record for consecutive made extra points. The Bengals-Eagles game finishes in a tie, for the first time since 2002. And the Steelers-Chargers game ends 11-10, becoming the first game EVER to end with that score. Folks, this was a week to remember. But above all, the playoff picture is slowly starting to clear up. Teams like the Chargers and Jags know their backs are against the wall while the Colts and Cowboys look to getting back on track. Plus, the Giants and Titans have officially put themselves in the position of Super Bowl favorites for their respective conference. This was a curse for the Cowboys last season (not the Pats) so we'll see what happens with these two.
All I know is next week, I am excited to see my top two teams in each conference go head-to-head.

1. NY Giants (9-1) - They look good in every area. This team is better than last year's super Bowl team. And that's scary. (Next @ AZ)
2. Arizona (7-3) - Gotta give them the respect they deserve. This offense is just amazing. Should be a fun one against the G-Men. (Next vs. NYG)
3. Carolina (8-2) - Record looks good but they have struggled the past two games...and they were against OAK and DET. (Next @ ATL)
4. Tampa Bay (7-3) - The defense continues to lead this team to victory. Loss of Earnest Graham will hurt down the road. (Next @ DET)
5. Atlanta (6-4) - Despite the loss, they showed some real fight. Matt Ryan may have already clinched rookie of the year. (Next vs. CAR)
6. Washington (6-4) - Offense was pathetic vs. DAL and while two home losses in a row is bad, this team will rebound. (Next @ SEA)
7. Dallas (6-4) - Wasn't the prettiest win but it got the job done. Marion Barber in the 4th quarter is impossible to stop. (Next vs. SF)
8. Green Bay (5-5) - Talk about a beatdown. Packers let out all of their 1st half frustration against the Bears. (Next Mon @ NO)
9. Philadelphia (5-4-1) - Yeah, the tie to CIN is bad but even more pathetic, Donovan McNabb didn't know ties even existed! (Next @ BAL)
10. Minnesota (5-5) - I'm not sure if this team is gonna ever compete for the playoffs until they get a real QB under center. (Next @ JAX)
11. New Orleans (5-5) - Not out of the playoff picture yet but they may be if those 3 players get suspended by the NFL. (Next Mon vs. GB)
12. Chicago (5-5) - Not sure what happened to this team. Good thing is that their division is as mediocre as they are. (Next @ STL)
13. San Francisco (3-7) - Good to see Mike Singletary get his first win. Cause he may not get another until STL again in WK 16. (Next @ DAL)
14. Seattle (2-8) - Matt Hasselback is back, meaning the Seahawks have a fighting chance to win some ballgames again. (Next vs. WAS)
15. St. Louis (2-8) - I don't understand why this team just can't function without Steven Jackson. It's just downright pathetic. (Next vs. CHI)
16. Detroit (0-10) - I admire how hard they fight for that first win. Too bad it's not coming this season. (Next vs. TB)
1. Tennessee (10-0) - Gotta be impressed with this team. They win the tough games. They don't win big but they win. (Next vs. NYJ)
2. NY Jets (7-3) - Brett Favre has brought new life and hope to this team. He beat the Pats but can he beat the unbeaten Titans? (Next @ TEN)
3. Indianapolis (6-4) - Beware teams. the Colts are back. Peyton and Co. are scoring and the defense is starting to step up. (Next @ SD)
4. Pittsburgh (7-3) - Just an ugly game vs. SD but like they seem to do, they win the ugly games. Short week to prepare/heal for Cincy. (Next Thu vs. CIN)
5. New England (6-4) - Yeah, they lost at home to the Jets. More importantly, Matt Cassel showed he's worth big money in the offseason. (Next @ MIA)
6. Denver (6-4) - Same as the Colts. This offense has woken up and the defense is bending but not breaking. (Next vs. OAK)
7. Miami (6-4) - May not know it but they've won 4 in a row. Competition has been light but hey, wins are wins right? (Next vs. NE)
8. Baltimore (6-4) - After a lot of smack talk about shutting down the NYG ground game, it was the Ravens who were shut up. (Next vs. PHI)
9. San Diego (4-6) - Another tough loss for this team. Probably the best 4-6 team in the history of the NFL. (Next vs. IND)
10. Jacksonville (4-6) - Had the Titans beaten and blew it. So what's the word to describe the season so far: Disappointment. (Next vs. MIN)
11. Cleveland (4-6) - I don't get it. 2-0 on Mondays. 2-6 every other night. Watch out PHI on Monday, Dec. 15. (Next vs. HOU)
12. Buffalo (5-5) - There were 4-0 and then, 5-1. Now, they are 5-5 and J.P. Losman looks like a great choice at QB now. (Next @ KC)
13. Cinicnnati (1-8-1) - Their record says they stink but this team isn't that bad. But it is fitting they missed that FG to win. (Next Thu @ PIT)
14. Kansas City (1-9) - Still impressed with how this team continues to keep it close with every team they play. Credit Herm. (next vs. BUF)
15. Houston (3-7) - Sage played well I guess. But this team just isn't good without Matt Schaub healthy and throwing to Andre Johnson. (Next @ CLE)
16. Oakland (2-8) - Best story of the week may be that Jim Fassel actaully wants to coach this team. He really must be desperate. (Next @ DEN)
